Frequently Asked Questions

How does Botsford Commons differ from other senior communities?
Botsford Commons is one of the only not-for-profit, non-sectarian, hospital-affiliated continuum of care communities in southeast Michigan.  Our community has been in existence since 1984 in a picturesque, beautifully wooded, 30+ acre campus in Farmington Hills.

What does Continuum of Care mean?
When this campus was expanded to include additional living options, it was done with the intention of assisting area seniors with services which would allow them to age in place.  The campus offers options from independent living (condominium and apartments), assisted living (Senior Living Center), and Botsford Rehabilitation & Continuing Care Center (rehab, chronic, and memory-assisted care).

What makes the Botsford Continuum of Care special?
Having the freedom to have your care come to you, affords our residents the ability to maintain their home, be in familiar surroundings, nurture longstanding friendships – all while knowing if they should need medical care, it’s literally next door.  The interweaving of lives on this campus – the residents, the staff, and the volunteers – is truly remarkable!  It is the people and the relationships that truly make Botsford Commons a uniquely special place.
